storyboard project

as the title says storyboards woo!, i always start projects like this with 1 clear idea and generally over a few hours or even days realise that my idea is to complicated and spent ages chopping and changing things around unitl i get something i like.
as you can see i decided to make a storyboard about an evil frosty the snowman, especially after watching some horror/ gorey films for some inspiration.
weights it means extra work for certain people and this is stretched across the board in all hayle groups.
ok back to the storyboard itself. i like the first few frames as they are rather a comic book stlye each was hand drawn then scanned into illustrator in which i couloured them.
like with any project, if u had more time you would have done things differently, but i found the time stretch of the project perfectly acceptable, it was just the time period we had to do it in. personly i think it was a really bad idea putting a storyboard project to do at the same time as a major project such as the hayle work we are working on. especially if certain people in your groups arent pulling their weight which means extra work for others and this was occuring across the board in all hayle groups

anyway back to the pictures. as you can see i tried to go for almost a comic book style in my storyboard in which i hand drew and then scanned into illustrator to colour. some of my images after using the "live trace"option in illustrator thickened the lines of my image and this was the only way for the whole shape to be shown and i coulnt really change it. this was really anoying and made a few of my images look clip arty.
the story itself could have been improved like adding a few extra frames in just to make the flow of the story slightly better
