really enjoyed the first lesson, was very usefull to compare work and styles to everyone else in the group. first initial sketch in pencil was a good starting point as its a medium i am very comfortable using, so i decided to try use charcoal with the rest of my drawings to test my drawing skills.
i found in previous charcoal sketches the medium very difficult to even start an image, as the first impression on the page depicts the outcome of the image. But today I found out that its just as easy to use and more challenging and rewarding.
